Merry, Tom, Helen, Craig (then Deputy Tower Captain and Steeplekeeper),
Lucy (Tower Captain) and Stephen, taken during the 2002 District striking
competition. Unknown to us when this photo was taken, we were, much to our
surprise, to win the Jersey Cup for the second year.

Just before Christmas 2001, for once in a blue moon, all the ringers
at St Andrew's Enfield were together in one place, with someone else to
take the photograph.

Left to right: Craig (Tower Captain), Helen, Tom, Lucy (then Tower Secretary now
Deputy Tower Captain), David and Stephen
(then Steeplekeeper).
This is six of our ringers, still suffering from the shock of
winning the District striking competition in May 2001. Craig is holding the Jersey Cup,
with our name on it for the first time. Sitting in the cup is Bob, one of our bats!

Jane and Craig at St Osyth during our June 2001 outing. We had been told at the previous tower that these bells were
"almost unringable", which was rather worrying, but, while requiring more effort
than some to ring, they weren't at all bad - it all adds character!
